Charity ‘Doggie Social’ and Bake Sale

As part of the North Bar Ltd Group, Alfred bar are helping to raise £20,000 for St Gemma’s Hospice for North’s 20 years of trading. This sociable and charitable dog walk is a fun way to raise some money. A donation is required to enter the event – 100% of this will go to the Charity and you will receive a bag of dog treats and a raffle number. The winning raffle ticket will get a free dog paw-trait of their dog commissioned and drawn by Alfred’s own talented staff member, Rosie.

Meet at Alfred Bar, Stonegate Road, LS6 4HY and then a stroll together to Meanwood Park for the start of the Dog Activity Show !

£5 charity donation which will include a bag of treats, a cup of tea and a raffle ticket for the ‘Doggie ‘Paw-Trait’

Alfred/North Brewing Co Brewery Tour

Alfred is taking you on an adventure to their company brewery ; North Brewing Co !

Meet at 12.30pm ready for transport to the brewery. Once at the brewery, you will be shown around the brewery itself and the Tap Room  and given some insight to the breing processes, before enjoying 3 x 1/3rds of North Breing Co Beer. Once the tour has finished, you are welcome to stick around and enjoy some more food and drinks put on for their ‘Eat North’ event (a food festival held over the summer months at the Brewery).

Meet at Alfred bar at 12.30, transport will be leaving shortly after and the Brewery Tour starts at 1.00pm.

£12 which includes ; transport to the brewery, tour of the brewery and 3 x 1/3rds tasters.

‘Have a Go’ Dog Agility Show

Bring your dog and join Becky, Claire and Catherine from Yorkshire Vets for some have-a-go dog agility at the Meanwood Festival. Your dog will love flying over jumps, running through tunnels and weaving through poles. The team will be on hand to guide you and your dog through the obstacles. Agility is fun for both you and your dog regardless of size, age or breed ; so come along and have a go – no experience necessary.
